
Casa Gonzaiz” is a farmhouse dating from the early nineteenth century, where there was also a workshop of craftsmen “galocheiros” for the manufacture of wooden “madreñas”. It is located in a village, settled on a Celtic castro, in the Suarón Valley, under the northern slope of the Sierra de la Bobia, and open to the sea on the Eo estuary. In the heart of the Biosphere Reserve Río Eo, Oscos and Terras de Burón, it offers the visitor an incomparable natural place to rest and disconnect from the world.
The house is located in an extensive estate of the same property for recreation and leisure, with access for vehicles and ease for the enjoyment of children.
It has been restored respecting the original physiognomy, and typical of the area, predominantly stone and hardwood, but with all the comforts for rest and relaxation. Adapted for handicapped people.
It currently consists of three double bedrooms, one of them adapted for wheelchairs, with two bathrooms, -also one is adapted-, fully equipped kitchen, tv, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher, etc …, living area with fireplace and tv, and of course heating throughout the house.
The decoration is typical of the area, with a predominance of stone and hardwood. The house has its own parking, terrace and recreation areas for children.
Casa Rural Prado is an old family house, fully restored in stone and slate and located in the Asturian council of San Tirso de Abres, in the Oscos-Eo region (Biosphere Reserve).
