Arnao

Next to the beautiful port of Figueras and the mouth of the Eo estuary, is the beach of Arnao, located in a hollow and protected from the winds and the attacks of the Bay of Biscay. Its location makes it very sheltered from the winds and the power of the tides of the Bay of Biscay. It has a length of 400 meters when the tide is low, but at high tide there is hardly any sand left uncovered.
There, tourists can bathe, sunbathe, fish or enjoy the “Hollina”, a natural raft, or have a snack in the Recreational Area located near the beach, which has the same name.
The access was made by a small path on the hillside and some concrete stairs. Currently, its surroundings have been completely remodeled providing a series of very notable improvements for the enjoyment of this beach.
